    Leonardi Aray, AIA

Leonardi established Leonardi Aray Architects with the mission to communicate clients’ values through design.

He and Marissa Lisec, Intern Architect, designed a new  Home for Sydni in Boston.

At Leonardi Aray Architects we constantly seek design cues in the urban environment to produce responsibly original, inspiring and functional buildings.  We envision safe and inviting public spaces for all.

Leonardi, an architect and urban designer, has been involved with a broad range of projects including, higher education, mixed use buildings, mixed income housing, neighborhood revitalization, transit oriented development studies and urban planning initiatives nationwide.

Leonardi is a registered Architect in the state of Massachusetts.  He earned his degree of Architecture in Caracas, Venezuela and a Master of Community Planning from the University of Rhode Island with a concentration in Urban Design.  Research on the work of organizations dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities made Leonardi aware of universal design principles.  He is sensitive to the challenges that people with disabilities face because of the unintended barriers created by designers.

Leonardi is the co-chair the Boston Society of Architects’ Alien Architects roundtable.  The roundtable helps foreign architects to understand and navigate through the architectural registration process in the US.

An avid bicycle rider and urban enthusiast, Leonardi, his wife and one year old son live in Cambridge, MA.
