Get Started
HomeFreeHome.org is a group of volunteer Architects who design barrier-free home renovations that allow people to live with greater safety, freedom and dignity. We connect people with disabilities to local volunteer architects to create designs for small-scale construction projects such as; ramps, accessible bathrooms and kitchens.
Who is eligible for free HomeFreeHome services?
Low-income homeowners, particularly elderly, physically challenged and families with children who are not able to afford an architect are eligible for our services, as are the non-profit facilities that serve them.
If your family income exceeds the financial limits you may be eligible for our low-cost architectural services. We use HUD income standards and each application is reviewed on a case by case basis.
Anyone with a permanent physical disability which restricts daily living activities, can apply for HFH services.
